Die Grundprinzipien der Rhythm

That's life unfortunately. As a dated BE speaker I would not use class, I would use lesson. May be it's the standard Schwierigkeit of there being so many variants of English.

I think it has to be "diggin" the colloquially shortened form for "You are digging," or at least I assume the subject would be "you" since it follows a series of commands (Tümpel, watch).

It is not idiomatic "to give" a class. A class, rein this sense, is a collective noun for all the pupils/ the described group of pupils. "Ur class went to the zoo."

Rein another situation, let's say I am at a party. If I want to invite someone to dance, I should say"Startpunkt dancing".

"Go" is sometimes used for "do" or "say" when followed by a direct imitation/impersonation of someone doing or saying it. It's especially used for physical gestures or sounds that aren't words, because those rule out the use of the verb "say".

The substitute teacher would give the English class for us today because Mr. Lee is on leave for a week.

It depends entirely on the context. I would say for example: "I am currently having Italian lessons from a private tutor." The context there is that a small group of us meet regularly with our Kursleiter for lessons.
